LOA Residency

In March and April, residency scholarships are awarded to artists and writers working in the fields of art and German-language literature. These scholarships offer a creative stay at Villa Avelan, a place of tranquillity and inspiration in the heart of the Luberon. Applications for the residency in spring 2027 are open until 3 January 2027. Please let us know in advance by 1 December 2026 that you intend to apply.

We offer a space where intellectuals and artists can immerse themselves in an inspiring environment for 3–4 weeks at a time.
